Your files

Files you open in PDFMoss are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers. We cannot see, store or share them.

Passwords

Passwords you type to protect or unlock a PDF are used only in your browser and are never sent anywhere.

Libraries and fonts

All code libraries and fonts the tools use are served from our own site. Pages do not load scripts, fonts or images from other companies' servers, except for the visit statistics described below.

Visit statistics

We count visits with a privacy-friendly analytics service that uses no cookies and does not identify you. It records the page you opened, your country, device type and the website that linked to us. When you use a tool, it records only the tool's name, whether it worked and the page language. File names, file contents and passwords are never recorded.

Offline use

When you install the app or come back to the site, your browser keeps a copy of the site's pages and code on your device so the tools keep working without an internet connection. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Settings on your device

Your browser may remember small preferences, such as the last tool you used. They stay on your device.
